“I have been living in Houston my whole life and I have grown up visiting the Buffalo Bayou. For me if we are able to help take care and expand our knowledge to find better resources that benefit our environment what better way to do it than to contribute to a historic bayou in the city of Houston.”
"Green Buffalo is an idea that I believe everyone can benefit from, including the environment. With a sailing background, there are many possible health benefits to water exposure. Green boat technology would have a happy home on the Buffalo Bayou."
"I have always held a deep passion for nature and the environment. I enjoy getting outside of the city and traveling and I believe Green Buffalo is an idea that blends both of those passions. Giving Houstonians the opportunity to travel along the bayou, as well as benefit the environment, is something that will be hard to pass up."
"Designing and creating unique features for the world to observe is the reason why I've always wanted to be an architect. This project with the help of the other group members allowed for imaginative ideas to flourish, all while creating something beneficial for the environment and the city. This characteristics are beautiful and hopefully others are allowed to see that."
"Since high school I have been interested in the environment and sustainable practices that will slow down globally warming effects. I believe that we must exploit renewable resources as much as possible and move away from non renewable resources. I want to do my part in order to leave this earth better than I found it for future generations."
"Buffalo Bayou is such an important part of Houston. For this reason, it is essential to implement environmentally friendly methods that help to conserve the green areas of Houston clean. I believe that through this project, we can create awareness to the Houstonians on how to take care of the bayou and our environment."
